The Rollformer


At the heart of the system is ASC's rollformer with Gearbox Drive System and large cast rollformer stands.

Large cast stands provide the mass and rigidity necessary for these applications. Combined with properly sized bearings, shafts and D2 tooling, the result is a rollforming system designed to maintain profile accuracy while handling the forces associated with forming thick material.

The hydraulic system provides the substantial cutting force required for heavy-gauge material, while the flying shear design allows the cutoff operation to take place without requiring the entire rollforming line to stop.

The window-style die-cut configuration provides a robust method for producing precise cut-to-length profiles while accommodating the demanding requirements of heavy-gauge production.
