The ASC C/Z Purlin Stacker is a patented design by ASC Machine Tools, Inc (U.S. Patent No. 10,196,218 B2)
The ASC Purlin Stacker is designed for high-volume purlin producers this purlin stacker will give you the fastest cycle times and highest level of flexibility you have been searching for.
The Stacker has a cycle time of only 6 seconds per part and can handle the industries full range of Cee, U, Zee Purlin and Eave Struts. ASC also offers high speed Stackers with even shorter cycle times depending on the application, part length, profile shape and material thickness.
ASC’s Purlin Stacker are available in 20ft to 70ft length and are designed for either C-Legs UP or DOWN production. The System can easily be added to any new and existing Purlin Rollforming line!
The C/Z Purlin Stacker is controlled via ASC Touchscreen controller which allows the operator an easy set up. The internal Part Library delivers valuable information about bundle sizes, dimensions and weight.
And the best, all of our equipment is made in Spokane,WA USA!

LENGTH
Our Purlin Stacker is available in length of 20,30,40, 50 and 60ft and will be build to fit your specific application.
C-Purlin can exit the rollformer either legs up or legs down.
SPEED
Cycle times are typically between 5 and 9 seconds!
Even shorter cycle times may be available depending on the application, e.g. rollformer line speed, part length, profile shape and material thickness.
ASC's "C-Only" and "Z-Only " Stacking systems for flying post-cut Purlin lines allow speeds of up to 300 FPM.
PART SIZES
Our standard C/Z Purlin Stacker handles the following part sizes:
- C-Purlins: Web 4-16", Flange 2-5", Lips up to 1"
- Z-Purlins: Web 4-16", Flange 2-5", Lips up to 1"
- U-Channel: Web 4-16", Flange 2-5"
- OMEGA-Purlin
XL-WEB & S-WEB
Customers can add the option to stack wider C & Z-Purlin with up to 24" web width.
Smaller part sizes with 2" or 3" web width can also be added upon request!
SIDE TRANSFER
& STAGING
ASC's side transfer conveyors are divided into multiple zones.
The system allows the staging for up to 3 bundles.
