Coil Upenders
Rotating and non-rotating models set the industry standard for quality.
Features
Smooth Operation
Virtually hundreds of ASC Coil Upenders are currently in operation
all over the world.
Durability, ease of operation and maintenance, and a variety of safety features have made this upender the industry standard for quality.
ASC manufactures two different types of coil upenders. The rotating model will upend palletized coils 90º while simultaneously rotating through 180°. This allows the lift truck operator to load and unload from the same position.
The non-rotating model will upend palletized coils 90°. The load and unload positions will be opposite from one another. This is often preferred for crane unloading.
Semi-Portable, Easy to Maintain
Both units are semi-portable with all electric operation. A remote
pendant allows the operator to upend coils while seated on the lift truck for increased
safety and convenience. Coils weighing up to 40,000 lbs. (18,144kg) may be accommodated.
Both gear drive and chain drive models are available to cover the full spectrum of coil
widths, diameters and materials.
All units feature a centralized lubrication system for ease of maintenance and fail-safe brakes on the rotating and upending functions for maximum operator protection.
The Best Factory Support System in the Business
All ASC equipment is built to the industrys most stringent
standards. When the ASC name goes on a piece of machinery, its backed with the
finest factory and field support available. This assures fast turnaround on parts and
rapid service response...anywhere in the world.
