Manufactured with an emphasis on high quality and long life, the Brake and Hump™ System is compatible with most panel and trim roll formers, making it a high return, low cost alternative to retrofitting existing equipment.

Features That Set the Industry Standard
This advanced system has a reversible multi-roll bender that efficiently removes the coil set in both overfeed and underfeed applications. An entry guide table in front of the shear is independently adjustable, provides lubrication, and features hardened guides with precision bushings. The ASC Brake and Hump™ System's feed roll is AC servo driven and features pneumatically-loaded upper roll and an electrically pulsed sheet lubricator system. This combination offers extremely accurate length control, as well as precise control and containment of lubrication.

Exclusive Entry Guide Table
The premium entry guide table provides easy feed-up, self-squaring and precise sheet containment for positive part alignment. The entry guide also features:

built-in electrically controlled edge lubrication system

A self-contained hydraulic power unit with manifold-mounted components includes a piston-type accumulator for increased accumulator life and fast press cycle times. Flat-faced O-ring fittings are utilized throughout the hydraulic system for easy maintenance. All components are located for convenient accessibility.

The hydraulically actuated shear is available in 2 or 4 post models. They are fast, quiet, economical, exceptionally easy to maintain and offer full tonnage throughout the range of the stroke. ASC engineers have also designed the Brake and Hump™ System to offer cut-off, punching and notching capabilities by accepting multiple die sets. This makes the system ideal for conventional panels, including concealed fastener/panel lapping applications.

The ASC Brake and Hump™ System is precision engineered, designed to stand up to the most demanding performance requirements. Brake/feed rolls are pneumatically-loaded and electronically controlled, providing precise speed regulation for varying roll former tooling pitch diameters.

This innovative system features an exclusive CNC-500 Control System that is designed, manufactured, serviced, warranted and supported by ASC. This single source system responsibility is what makes ASC equipment so unique to the industry.

The entire Brake and Hump™ assembly is integrally mounted onto a heavy-duty welded steel base. It's not only easy to install, but it's ASC-factory aligned, pre-wired and tested before shipping.
