Single-Arm Uncoiler

Single-Arm Uncoiler -- Contact ASC

Years of high-productivity and low maintenance service.

Features

Built for Efficiency and Long Life
The ASC Single-Arm Uncoiler features advanced technological design that will ensure many years of high productivity and low-maintenance service. The system's integral self-contained hydraulic reservoir serves to provide efficient cooling as well as to reduce floor space. The Single-Arm Uncoiler's low pressure hydraulic system is designed to maximize equipment life.

The system's modular design and steel alloy/cast components ensure strength and durability. Manifold mounted components and DIN solenoid connectors make access and troubleshooting quick and easy.

Advanced Coil Control
The Mandrel Drive Assembly in the powered Single-Arm Uncoiler runs in an oil bath, eliminating maintenance and prolonging gear life. Material payoff speeds of up to 300 feet (91 meters) per minute are achieved with precise coil control. Our ASC Single-Armed Uncoilers feature wedge-type expansion for constant force throughout the expansion range. This wedge-type expansion utilizes three rugged mandrel segments pinned to the large diameter main mandrel shaft.

Drag brake, powered payoff options are available. Every ASC Single-Arm Uncoiler provides material control by employing the standard coil riding loop arm, or an optional Smartloop or ultrasonic non-contacting loop systems.

Designed for Maximum Safety and Ease of Use
The Mandrel Expansion Circuit has been designed with a pilot-operated check valve to ensure operator safety and to prevent mandrel collapse in the event of power failure. Standard electrical interlocks provide an added measure of safety.

A powered jog option provides ease of threading in coil preparation, while the hydraulic expansion and the Overfeed/Underfeed features result in greater operator convenience, safety and flexibility in coil loading.

Built into every powered Single-Arm Uncoiler is an easily accessible, self-contained hydraulic power pack.

The Best Factory Support System in the Business
All ASC equipment is built to the industry’s most stringent standards. When the ASC name goes on a piece of machinery, it is backed with the finest factory and field support available. This assures fast turnaround on parts and rapid service response...anywhere in the world.
