Coil Cars

Coil Car -- Contact ASC

ASC Coil Cars maximize coil loading capabilities and minimize coil changeover time.

Designed to handle a wide range of coil sizes, ASC Coil Cars offer ease of operation, ease of maintenance and feature a self-contained hydraulic power unit that doesn't affect associated equipment. ASC design technology ensures lower operating costs and minimum of down time. ASC Coil Cars are the most dependable units on the market.

Features

Expanded Operating Capabilities
With an 18 inch (457mm) stroke lift cylinder, each Coil Car will handle a wide range of coil weights and sizes quickly and safely. Providing a constant lift force throughout the lifting range, the cylinder has a lifting capability not found in conventional scissor-lift cars. Coil Cars are available with a rotating platen that allows for bi-directional coil feeding or a fixed platen if no rotation is needed.

ASC Coil Cars are available with an above-floor raised track or an in-floor flush track. The raised track offers ease of installation. The flush track provides ease of housekeeping and operator access.

Flexibility in Coil Loading
All ASC Coil Cars come with a V-platen which centers the coil with the uncoiler mandrel to facilitate coil loading. The rotating Coil Car features a rotating platen for bi-directional coil loading and the ability to service two uncoilers with a single Coil Car. The platens will readily accept available optional features and equipment.

Efficient, Self-Contained Power Unit
ASC Coil Cars feature an independent, self-contained, on-demand hydraulic power unit that will not affect associated equipment. The low pressure hydraulic system maximizes equipment life. All hydraulic components are manifold mounted for easy access and trouble shooting. This adds up to less maintenance and significantly lower energy consumption.

The Best Factory Support System In The Business
All ASC equipment is built to the industry’s most stringent standards. When the ASC name goes on a piece of machinery, it is backed with the finest factory and field support available. This assures fast turnaround on parts and rapid service response...anywhere in the world.
