ASC's Patented Purlin Rollformer Has It All

This automatic rollformer represents the industry's first new Purlin Tooling technology in decades!  It offers more features and more dependability than ever before. The exclusive parallel flow tooling technology forms from the center of the strip to the edges, minimizing forming stresses and providing consistent, high quality finished parts.

A key feature is the rollformer's quick changeover time. Profile changes can be made in less than 1 minute ... the quickest in the industry!  The menu-driven programmable push-button operation allows fast, hands-off changeover between profiles. Set ups are repeatable, storable, retrievable and programmable.

Our unique tooling technology is designed to provide positive part control with male roll engagement, totally eliminating air bending and part wiping. There's no rollformer translation, which means a small footprint with minimal floor space requirements.

Infinite Variable Part Capability

The ASC Automatic Purlin Roll-former features a 5-axis absolute positioning system, giving it the ability to handle a wide range of flange and web sizes and a full range of LGSI shapes plus custom sizes, including metric and imperial parts. It can also form U-channel and base angle without special set ups or tooling changes, with repeatability to + or - .001" (.025mm).

Safe, Flexible, Trouble-Free Operation

The roll former is gear-driven for years of trouble-free operation. It can handle galvanized, prepainted and mill finish bare steel materials. A unique elevating exit conveyor is integrated into the system providing full part support.
